Students are supposed to wear prescribed uniform. No student is allowed in the school bus or compound without proper uniform. On PTM/ other non teaching days also, students must report to school in proper uniform only.
Every student must have the School Diary of current session. He must carry this to the School everyday. The diary has to be checked and signed by the parent after making sure their ward has, completed the home assignments.
School is very strict about punctuality. Late comers are not allowed to enter the school premises.
A Code of conduct is to be followed by students. Acts of violence, use of abusive language, violation of discipline shall be strictly viewed. In the school buses also, the students must maintain their dignity and courtesy.
For students, carrying of mobile or any electronic equipment is not allowed.
The examinations are conducted as per C.B.S.E. - CCE pattern for classes I to X including Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment for two semesters in an academic session. For Classes XI, XII also, the school follows C.B.S.E. guidelines.
The D.A.V. public School have their own D.A.V. Education Board which conducts exams for classes VIII to X (semester system) and for class XI - (Annual examination system) as per .B.S.E. guidelines.

Each student is expected to have at least 90% attendance record during an academic session.

In case of a sick leave, a proper leave letter written and signed by the parent/guardians, supported by a medical certificate should be submitted.

A serious action is imperative against any child who misses any class or leaves the school before time without prior permission.

If a half day leave is required the student can leave the school premises only with parents who attend the P.T.M. or are known to the class teacher.

For security reasons, the school will not accept any lunch boxes or other things. The child must himself/herself bring all the essentials required in school.

In case of emergency of any kind regarding your ward, the parent can be called. Your co-operation will be highly appreciated.

Any change in student's residential address / contact number must be conveyed to the accounts office and class teacher immediately.

Students are not allowed to bring two wheelers - bikes/scooty etc. Parking of such vehicles in the neighboring area is not the responsibility of the school.
In an academic session, the school closes down, for (i) Autumn Break (ii) Winter Break and (iii) Summer Vacations.
School Uniform is a must for uniformity in appearance and apparel so as to avoid any type of complex amongst the students.
For Boys:
1.Navy blue shorts up to Class-V. White socks with white and blue stripes for all classes.
2. Navy blue trousers for classes VI to XII.White trousers with the House T-Shirt, white socks with House colour on House Activity Day.
For Girls:

1. Square check pattern tunic with white shirt for classes K.G to V. Square check pattern skirt white shirt for classes VI to XII. House T-Shirt with white skirt and House colour socks and ribbons/ruffle on House activity day.

2. Red ribbons/hair band till class V. Navy blue ribbons/bands from VI to XII.

Note:House T-shirt and white canvas shoes, House colour socks and ribbons are to be worn on House meet day too.
For Boys-- Grey worsted trousers.
For Girls-- Grey worsted trousers for classes upto VI and skirts from VII-XII. Common for Both boys and Girls Sky Blue Sweater, Navy blue Blazer with school monogram, White full sleeved shirt and grey coloured socks.

Tuition fee is payable bi-monthly by the 15 of the first month for which fee is due, except January and April.

In January, students will pay fee for 3 months i.e. January, February and March.

Only one month fee will be charged in the month of April, along with Admission fee/Annual Fee.

May and June fee is to be paid by 15 of May, July and August fee by 15 of July, September and October fee by 15th of September, November and December fee by 15th of November

Annual fee-can be paid in two installments.

In case fee is not deposited in time, a fine of Rs. 5/- per day will be charged.

School dues are accepted by cheque only.

Cheques deposition facility is till 15th of each month.

Cheques should be payable at par in Faridabad.

In the month of April, for new admissions as well as Admission Renuewals fee is accepted by cheque only.

In case of cheque dishonour, a fine of Rs. 200 will be levied, cheque facility for the particular student will also be withdrawn permanently. Cheque should be drawn in favour of “Principal, DAV Public School, Sainik Colony, Faridabad”.

Mention at the back side of the cheque- Name of ward, admission no., Class, section, month for which fees is being paid through cheque.

Bringing fee card along with cheque is compulsory.

Parents should keep a record of their communication with school including the Receipts of fee, so that they can be handy while discussing any fees discrepancy pertaining to their wards.

A calendar month’s notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of such notice from the school.

The school leaving certificate is issued free of charge. A fee of Rs.50/- will be charged for a duplicate.

Caution money will be refunded at the time of withdrawal from the school, on the production of caution money deposit receipt, after getting the NO DUES CERTIFICATE.

If no claim to the caution money is made within 3 months of the withdrawal from the school, the caution money will be forfeited.

Claim for the caution money will be made on a prescribed application form. A cheque will be issued in the name of a parent(Mother or Father) whose name is mentioned on the prescribed application form.

Security will be forfeited in case the cheque is not collected within 6 months.

Admission to the School does not mean automatic allocation of a seat in a School bus.

Parents are requested to refrain from making requests for change of Route, Diversion, Additional stops and Relocation of stops.

The routes and stops are fairly ascertained on the basis of the area to be covered. No request for changes in the bus route or stop will be entertained.

One month charge as notice period fee for discontinuation of transport facility is required.

Bus charges are for eleven months from April to March, as charges for June are not payable. No discontinuation of bus after November will be allowed.

Rules & Regulations of bus facilities must be followed by the students.

The school provides bus facility to the students ( to the school and back) of classes L.K.G. to XII from the convenient points. The school management tries to provide this facility to the maximum number of students. Bus facility for every student is not guaranteed.

The children will be picked up only from the specified points.

NH-1,2,3,4,5 Sectors- 3,7,8,9,10,15,16,21,22,23,28,29,31,32,46, SGM Nagar, 55, Gandhi Colony, Thermal Colony, Press Colony, Jawahar Colony, Dabua Colony, Patel Chowk, Apna Ghar and near by areas.
Students are required to carry their bus passes daily. Bus users are expected to reach the stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
