”Music is the voice of God”. Dance and music radiate man’s inherent divinity. This ethereal touch is a regular part of the routine of D.A.V.ites. Trained under the expert hands of the music department, the school has produced various dancers and singers who have bagged numerous awards. Training in various instruments is also imparted.

The creative prowess of the young minds is moulded well with art and craft activities carried out in the school. The young artiest of D.A.V. participate at various State and National Level events and bring laurels for the school. The art and craft room provides them the right ambience to unleash their creative expressions.

The school aims at the all round development of the pupil. Consequently proportionate emphasis is laid on the proper physical development along with academic progress, emotional health and social well being. With this purpose school provides facilities for many indoor (Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis etc.) outdoor (Basket ball, Hand ball, Athletics etc.) games. Yoga and Scout training is also an integral part of physical drills. School also plans to start Horse riding as an adventure sport.

Excursions and trip are organized and pupils are encouraged to participate in them. Pupils venture out to distant places and learn to be self dependent, spirited, co-coordinative and become close to nature. Simultaneously, they broaden their knowledge and experience.

The students and staff members express their creative acumen through the Annual school Magazine 'Sankalp'. The school also brings out the Result special Bulletin, Information Brochures and circulars to update the parents. DAVCMC brings out its monthly ' Students World' magazine for dual purpose of entertainment and information.

100 students of the school are active members of the Arya Yuva Samaj. This group illumines people with the fundamental belief of Arya Yuva Samaj – its aims and objectives. The members also materialize the cause of service of society by organizing rallies, camps for the underprivileged sections of the society.

The multipurpose, magnificent, cenrally air conditioned school auditorium with the capacity for 1500 people is the hub of co-curriculum activities and celebrations. The imposing auditorium played a pivolat role in facilaiting the hosting of the All India Mahatma Hansraj Inter Zonal Youth Festival in the school premises
